I sent photos of Battersea Park library p.1273 and the Guild magazine published the article about our trip.p.1279 I applied for the Alvering and mobile HQ job. I did not get it but did work there at one point. P.1285 the Allen on loan to Addiscombe.By this time plane were well in hand to replace the Conacher at Addiscombe by a fine 3 manual Cathedral digital. Paddy Russill came and advised. Sister Mary Clement who played for so!e services and I visited several organs including Sudbury to hear different makes. Allens lent us an organ but I did not like their rep and his smooth talk about the choir! My test piece was the Howells Saraband. The result was excellent.
