Ann and Paul were in Gottingen on the Humboldt scholarship. p.550 New Year's 1992. p.572 Knud Nielsen died. They came to Joburg and gave me some music I still use. I stayed with Knud and Myrli in Copenhagen in 1972 and they gave me a lovely little inscribed book. He was a fine player. p.575 we were at Pueri Cantores at Brentwood cathedral and met David Molloy from St Ives Corpus Christi cathedral. Fr Farmer had taken part in Pueri cantores. We also went to Leeds cathedral and |Dennis had sung at Westminster cathedral. p.583 Louise's trumpet exam. p.586 Dennis joined the tenors. p.587 Ann and Paul had 3 weeks in UK one week staying with Josie. p. 588 Bairstow and Howells for the Triduum and reference to Ted our deaf 80 year old bass moaning about how loud the accompaniment was on Easter Day. When I went to Mass on the Wednesday I felt I must be reconciled and went to his home. He did not remember! Now I have hearing aids I can understand how loud noises can affect you and he was standing right in front of the pipes! There was an echo of this when the end sadly came at Addiscombe on the Wednesday after Holy Week.
